The Opportunity

As a Client Executive at Catalina UK, you will play a pivotal role in managing the execution of marketing campaigns for a major retail client, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across internal teams. You will be the key liaison between the client and Catalina, responsible for securing campaign approvals, monitoring progress, and providing post-campaign analysis. Your efforts will contribute directly to the team’s revenue goals by driving efficiency, enhancing campaign quality, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

This role is based in the United Kingdom (London area).

  • Collaborate with the Senior Client Manager to interpret and refine marketing campaign briefs from the retailer, ensuring all necessary details are captured and clearly communicated to internal teams for flawless execution.

  • Create, manage, and organize all campaign-related documentation, ensuring it is complete, accurate, and aligned with internal processes before handing off to the setup and delivery.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the client to secure approval for all final campaign designs, ensuring that all campaign elements meet the client’s standards and requirements.

  • Conduct regular check-ins on the status of campaigns, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of campaign performance post-execution, matching results against expected outcomes, and reporting findings to senior stakeholders with actionable insights.

  • Regularly assess the efficiency and effectiveness of campaign processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance campaign quality and operational efficiency.

  • Develop, maintain, and update guides, handbooks, and other documentation that outline best practices for campaign execution and process improvements, ensuring that knowledge is shared across teams.

  • Actively engage with and coordinate between internal teams to ensure alignment with campaign objectives and timelines, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes accountability and high performance.

  • Perform market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors, and summarize findings to inform campaign strategies and account development.

  • Maintain regular communication with the client, providing updates, insights, and recommendations that demonstrate value, strengthen relationships, and enhance client satisfaction.

  • Analyze client needs and market data to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services or enhancements and present these opportunities to senior team members for action.

  • Contribute to broader company goals by supporting senior team members with strategic initiatives, business development efforts, and other high-impact projects that drive account growth and development.

  • Demonstrates a keen interest in pursuing a career in consultative selling by staying informed on Catalina products, services, industry trends, and competitive threats, and proactively identifying revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in a marketing, sales support, or client-facing role, preferably within the FMCG, retail, or related industry.

  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand and interpret client and stakeholder needs.

  • Possesses a confident social presence, communicates ideas in an effective and engaging manner.

  • Able to handle conflict/resolve issues with professionalism ensuring client satisfaction and team cohesion.

  • Has a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

  • The ability to persevere in challenging situations and adapting to changing requirements with a positive and solutions-oriented attitude.

  • Can work independently and as an effective team member to ensure alignment on campaign objectives and timelines, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances overall project success.

  • Exhibits strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing campaign documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal processes and deadlines.

  • Displays a continuous desire to learn and develop new skills, particularly in sales and marketing, with a readiness to take on new challenges and grow within the role.
