Our Team

The Digital Measurement team at Catalina is responsible for driving measurement capabilities across an ever-growing suite of digital products. The team works with internal and external clients providing analytically based solutions, consulting, and software. This position will report to the VP, Business Intelligence and Systems Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in scrum team to develop and troubleshoot machine learning models for our measurement solutions in our production environment

  • Participate in the roadmap development and execution to migrate on-prem (yellow brick) digital measurement solution to a cloud-based computing platform (Azure)

  • Streamline measurement pipeline efficiency and generate consistency in Omni, TV, & Digital campaign measurement results through building automation using Spark/Python based programming and optimizing & maintaining current code base

  • Enhance current modeling methodology within both internal and client-facing measurement products through continuous innovation on ML techniques for digital campaign measurement capabilities in the market

  • Support new vendors/clients by scaling our measurement capability through developing and testing current and new ML modeling techniques on new digital channels

  • Work with internal stakeholders to communicate results, methodologies, and training

  • Deliver custom analytic requests and exploratory analysis to guide product methodologies and opportunities

  • Provide consultative analytical support to sales, product, and client teams consuming measurement outputs

Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in statistics, computer science, math, physics, engineering, or similar hard science; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 4+ years relevant work experience

  • Strong programming aptitude and can adapt to different languages and systems (SQL, Python, R, Cloud environments, etc.); Spark and Scala knowledge a plus

  • Strong engineering skills combined with analytical mindset to solve business challenges

  • Comfortable with data cleansing and wrangling in big data and familiar with various ML packages: e.g. neural network, Markov decision process, natural language processing

  • Experience in DataBricks and cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

  • Experience working in integrated development environment (Intellij) and version control (Git)

  • Familiarity with the Agile process and working in scrum teams

  • Dedication and perseverance to overcome data, analytical, and/or technical challenges

  • Experience in digital media measurement a plus
