Responsibilities

Reporting into the SVP, P&C , the Executive Director, P&C Strategic Partnerships is a senior level position that is responsible for leading the delivery of day-to-day P&C support in coordination with the Catalina P&C community.  The overall objective of this role is to provide a broad range of strategic HR services and consultation to business functions and teams across Catalina Americas. Additionally, this position leads a team of Strategic P&C Partners. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads the Strategic P&C Partner team that is responsible for the creation of functional / organizational P&C agendas (key priorities, action) aligned with business objectives.  Determines the best P&C solution set given current and future business needs.  Works with the overall P&C community to ensure delivery.

  • Partners with executive team members and other leaders/employees across the organization to drive and execute talent and engagement strategies.

  • Delivers strategic HR services, consultation and builds capabilities that drive organizational performance through individuals and managers as well as identification of issues and recommendation of solutions.

  • For assigned groups, provides strategic P&C partnership to business leaders to resolve Employee Relations (ER) issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and risks are assessed.  Gets involved in escalated ER or consultation issues from Partner team. 

  • Coordinates and ensures seamless end-to-end delivery of priorities and life cycle processes

  • Works with Partners to ensure consistent communication and delivery of HR solutions and processes

  • Oversees the ongoing, informal engagement connections along with exit conversations.  Summarizes findings on a regular basis and recommends actions based on results.

  • Provides expert consultation on organization design and change management.  Critically thinking about cross-functional implications and the enterprise view, drives organization design within assigned business groups and ensures that P&C Partners are able to do the same.

  • Appropriately assess and communicate risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the organization’s reputation and its customers, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Leads the execution of key P&C programs and initiatives across all areas of the business.

  • Partners and collaborates with Global P&C teams, Communications, and Finance to drive overall strategy, planning, and execution.

  • Aligns and partners with Global P&C teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree and HR specific certifications preferred

  • 10-15+ years of relevant experience as a strategic HR leader leading teams in fast paced organizations

  • Experience supporting C-level / senior leadership

  • Deep understanding of all HR functions, including organizational development, consultation, and business partnership.

  • Understanding of general compensation, benefits, recruiting, and People operations practices is also a plus.

  • Working knowledge of applicable US laws

  • Successful track record leading complex projects involving multiple teams through collaborative decision making, problem resolution, and continuous process improvement.

  • Demonstrated excellence in all forms of communication

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Workday

  • Ability to attract, retain, engage and develop teams in a fast-paced, transformational environment

  • Ensure there is a focus on accountability and performance, with clear line of sight between organization strategy and individual goals
