Job Title:Analytics Consultant – Retail [Multiple Positions Available]

Catalina Marketing Corporation has multiple positions available for Analytics Consultant - Retail in St. Petersburg, Florida and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Provide analytical and technical support to the initiation and development of retail-centric shopper insights tools and dashboard.  Provide statistical expertise to the consolidation and development of statistical modeling and segmentation solutions, which will lead to improved shopper marketing strategy and campaign performances. Leverage historical POS shopper and transactional data to develop custom, actionable insights enabling in-store, digital, on-line, print and at home marketing solutions. Engage in all aspects of campaign solutions including client consultation, design, modeling, segmentation, execution, measurement, and maximizing program ROI. Develop targeting solutions that optimize the retailer client’s strategies and value propositions. Leverage segmentation and modeling to optimize marketing campaign activation. Manipulate and transform data and identify revenue generating opportunities using historical behavior based data. Provide promotion consultation and custom campaign analytics for major brand funded shopper marketing efforts. Leverage data mining to build lifestyle and behavior based segmentation for new buyer acquisition.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Integrated Marketing Communications or related field and 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation. 

1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Python and R;
  • SAS; SQL;
  • Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Density-based Anomaly Detection, K-means Clustering, and A/B Testing; and
  • Analytical techniques including Time Series Analysis, Principal Component Analysis, Fixed Basis Analysis, Factor Analysis, and Text Analysis.

All experience may be acquired concurrently.
