Our Team

The Catalina Corporate Marketing team is responsible for determining how to reach our desired customers and what messaging will appeal to them.  Our job is to manage Catalina’s messages and outward appearances!  

Responsibilities

This role is critical to success of strategic product/solutions in the retail market related to monetizing analytics, private label and the marketing of advanced targeting/personalization solutions; sitting at the intersection of customer needs, product roadmap and Catalina’s go-to market activities. This role will require the employee to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product and Sales to develop sales enablement assets, competitive considerations, product launch campaigns and contribute to the overall product marketing & communication strategy.

  • Supports the development of and implementation of the “Go to Market” process and to elevate commercialization. “Go to Market” plan includes items such as:

    • Product insights and positioning

    • Category and client targets

    • Sales presentation and collateral

    • Competitive positioning

  • Manage, prioritize and implement the marketing calendar including: collateral development, case studies and thought leadership support

  • Supports translating complex product concepts into clear & concise, jargon-free value propositions. Ensures that features and capabilities delivered through customer benefit communication/messaging, acting as a liaison between the product and sales teams.

  • Builds and fosters relationships across the product development team, analytics and sales

  • Subject matter expert on our customers, product offerings and competitive landscape

  • Supports product releases across all external communication touchpoints in identifying key messages and differentiating bullets that will be included in: releases, e-mails, social, marketing materials and more

  • Conducts quarterly reviews to refine the marketing calendar to ensure it is addressing marketplace and customer needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field

  • 6 – 10 years marketing management in business-to-business environment

  • Data Services and Digital &/or TV media experience required

  • Intermediate understanding of integrated marketing campaigns

  • Experience with data and analytics

  • A proven self-starter with excellent organizational skills, with a track record of delivering exceptional work product under time constraints

  • The ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates others to achieve business goals

  • Excellent organizational, communication and influencing skills

  • Strong writing and communication skills

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to write project briefs with business objectives and key insights

  • Ability to pull together solid presentations and manage spreadsheets

  • Industry Knowledge in CPG, Grocery, Drug and Digital Media Experience in digital, social or mobile marketing
